
Carrie-Anne Moss, born August 21, 1967 [1], is a Canadian actor from Canada. After her initial television roles, she became famous for her role in The Matrix series (1999 to present). Memento (2000) was her first big role. She won the Independent Spirit Award, Best Supporting Female, Red Planet (2000). Chocolat (2000), Fido (2006), Snow Cake (2006). Snow Cake (2006) earned her the Genie Award, Best Performance by an Actress, Disturbia (2007). Unthinkable (2010). Silent Hill: Revelation (2012). Pompeii (2014). Jessica Jones (2015), 2015-2019) and Unthinkable (2010) were some of her television roles. Moss was living in Spain at the time, was offered the role of Tara Marshall, the clerk to the Judge Nicholas Marshall, in Dark Justice. It was her first TV appearance. In 1992, she moved to the show from Barcelona to Los Angeles. Moss was forced to quit Dark Justice after the third and final season. Elisa Heinsohn replaced her as Samantha "Sam". She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena upon her return, and then she was a part of Fox's primetime soap opera Models Inc., a spin-off of Melrose Place, as a model. The show was cancelled in July 1, 1995. She was the lead actress in a short-lived Canadian-made show titled Matrix. She was a regular guest in several television shows which included Street Justice, Baywatch and F/X: The Series. [3] She won an Gemini Award nomination for Best Guest Actress in Drama. She starred in many B-movie parts throughout the decade and included Flashfire (1994), The Soft Kill(94), Tough Guy (1994), Lethal Tender (1996), Sabotage (1996) and The Secret Life of Algernon (1997).
