
Kate Hudson, an accomplished actor known for her part in the Hollywood film Almost Famous. The film brought her an Academy Award nomination. Her birthplace was a clan of film stars and appeared to be born to be in the spotlight. Her mother, Goldie Hawn, is an established film actor, while her father, Bill Hudson, is a comedian. At a very young age she was a performer and would seize every opportunity to perform on the stage. When she was a kid her parents offered dancing lessons, and she was trained at the Santa Monica Playhouse. In the year 1996, she received the role of a guest on the TV drama Party of Five. While she was accepted to New York University, Kate Hudson was more attracted to pursuing a career as an entrepreneur in the showbiz industry than earning having a degree. After a couple of small films and a few short films, she was offered the part that would become her first major role in the field. The role she was chosen for was Penny Lane in the comedy drama film Almost Famous. The film did not do well in the box office however it was praised by review from critics. It established Kate as an actor in the American film industry.
