Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Based on her observations of shadows in the earth and shadows on the ground, the artist spent months perfecting a technique that allows objects to be represented in two dimensions on canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a reproduction of itself and the canvas becomes the carrier of it's own painterly interpretation, especially when the subjects are living or perishable items, such as people or fruits. Alexa Meade's distinctive style of painting that is a bit ephemeral in the sense that it is amorphous, transparent. The only work from her work that is preserved is the photograph. Trompe l'oeil is achieved using the two processes of photography and painting. The result is an unflattened and two-dimensional image. Meade often incorporates models painted within the surrounding space. This allows them to engage with the environment that she created. The boundaries between performance, photography, installation and painting is thus broken.
