Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. More than 20 albums have been released by her. Her music is classified as folk-rock and alternative rock although it has additional influences from punk funk hip beat and jazz. Ani Difranco is acknowledged as a pioneer for feminist music. In the year 1990, she was among the first people to launch her own independent record label. DiFranco born on 23 September 1970 in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who met Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father has Italian descent.
