Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She was a student at the Arnold School in Blackpool where she was the head girl. She also scored straight A's in her A-levels. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman has replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor after Arthur Darvill left the series, would be playing the role alongside Matt Smith. Moffat picked her to play the role due to her ability to work most effectively with Smith and could talk faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's worked in film and television projects. She is more well-known for her TV work than film. Eva has appeared in a number of television roles, but Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children' and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas of CSI Miami have stood out. In the latter, she even received two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and allowed her to experiment with her talents in music.
