Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress, best known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began as a stage artist during the 1950s starting in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. The same year, She released Her first album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 drama. It received wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. In 1964, she signed with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her acting career across Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in more realistic roles as opposed to her perception as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has made a name as a director on several popular TV shows like Supernatural. Her birth date was August 28, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
