Lindsey Vonn is an American skier born on October 18, 1984. In 2010, she retired after winning the four World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal in downhill skiing. She holds the second-highest super score among skiers either female or male. She is the most famous and one of America's best-loved skiers. Caroline Vonn, also known as Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who is a member of the US Ski Team. She has been the winner of in the total World Cup competition four times. She is a renowned athlete within American History. She's one of just six women in history who have won all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. They have won 82 World Cup titles in all. A world-class skier and one of America's most successful ski racers have made the decision to quit after the World Championships which are taking place in Sweden. After suffering from a series of illness and injuries, the multiple World Cup champion has decided to take a break. Social media was the method used to announce her retirement.
